For acidic liquids, the super austenitic stainless steel 904L valve is more resistant to corrosion and stress corrosion than conventional 304/316 stainless steel valves. SS904L is added with copper to enhance its resistance to strong reducing acids, such as sulphuric acid. SS904L offers outstanding toughness and weldability.
